Welcome to the Worship Center

It is our desire at the Worship Center to create an atmosphere where faith and community come together. We believe with everything in us that Jesus offers life and life to the fullest. Our desire is to be a place where this truth can become a reality in your own life. We believe God is most glorified when people find their delight in Him.

What should I wear?

Our church is very contemporary, so wear whatever you have. God is clear in His word that He does not look on the outward appearance but rather into the heart of a person. 


What will I experience?

There are three things that you will experience in attending one of our Sunday morning services:

  • The first is community. We have people at the door who are there to welcome you, give you a information handout, and help you to your seat. When you get to your seat please feel free to say hello to people that are around you. We are a very friendly and social church.
  • Next, you will experience worship. Every Sunday we have a live band play songs that are directed towards Jesus. Through music, we desire to give honor to Him. Some people worship God in different ways than you may be used to. Some will clap, others will raise their hands, and some will stay very reverent. We encourage you to worship God in a way that honors Him and makes you feel comfortable.
  • Lastly, you will hear a biblical message taught by one of our staff pastors. Our pastors are friendly, relevant, and challenging. We believe that God has a plan for our church and that he speaks through the Bible. 
What service should I come to?
We offer 2 Sunday morning services. Both services are identical in music, the message, and children's programs. The only difference is in the people who attend and serve. Of course you are welcome to attend both, but most people only attend one service. If you're not sure what service to come to, that's alright! Try out each one and see what service you feel more comfortable in. Remember when you come in the front door there will be people available to greet you and show you around.

Is there something for my family?
Yes there is! On Sunday mornings we offer children’s ministries (nursery through grade 6) during all of the services. On Mondays and Tuesdays we offer our student ministry, the DEEP, for junior high and high school students. Wednesday nights are our family nights which include Royal Rangers (boys and young teenagers), Missionettes (girls and young teenagers), and classes for parents.

Will you take an offering?
Our regular attenders participate in an offering that will be received during the services. However, you shouldn't feel obligated to give as you check out our church. We want you to be our guest. So sit back, relax, open up your heart, and enjoy the service! 

How do I get to the Worship Center?
We are located on Route 50 (Ocean Gateway) in Berlin. Our building is directly adjacent to Casual Designs furniture and McDonald's, and Stephen Decatur High School is right down the street.
